Over the Weekend

Happy Monday! I'm home, just waiting for Lucas. Recapping the weekend and linking up with Biana for Weekending!
Last week I posted about my last day of work with the boys. We had a farewell dinner that the families hosted for both Jose and I. It was wonderful, a little time off from "work" to chat and have a meal together. I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with them, and excited to have my baby boy here.

Friday, I had a yummy oatmeal, it's called Farina, when we were younger my brothers and I loved it so much my mom made it often for us. I sure hope Lucas likes it as much as we did!

I started to look into what I will take to the hospital with me. I found this pajama dress at Marshalls, it's a pink button up by Ralph Lauren. I'm thinking the buttons will be great for when I start to nurse and/or for skin on skin.

Sophie made her way home! Woohoo! My sweet friend Dani sent it to us along with a few other things. She totally didn't have to but we love it so much! All of the kids I have nannied for in the past had Sophie, and loved her, I knew Baby Lucas needed it too.

I wasn't going to post this photo but I guess it might be helpful to someone, maybe. I've never had acne, a few breakouts here or there theoughtout my teenage years. Starting in my second trimester I started to feel bumps on my back while bathing. It wasn't until a few weeks ago I had Jose take a photo of my back so I could see. I'm hoping it'll go away once baby comes.

On Saturday, we went on a walk, it was cold and rainy. We weren't prepared for it so we left earlier than we would have liked but we headed to the theater instead to watch the Secret Life of Pets. Emily loved it, I'll see if Emily wants to give a mini review.

My older brother is a huge fan of recording special events for his daughter (my goddaughter) to see in the future. He gifted us this for our babyshower without knowing we already have several cameras and upload on YouTube. We got our baby monitor instead after thinking about what we could get for Lucas at Best Buy!

Don't mind all of the sleeping lines on my belly. One thing I have come to love about our mornings is watching Jose rub my belly and talk to Lucas. It's the sweetest.

I'm not sure when Lucas will make his arrival, but I'm home and we are ready whenever he is. Hope you have a fabulous Monday!
