Still Weekending-The 4th of July

Tuesday, July 5, 2016

The weekend was super busy and warm, I am currently still weekending as today is a vacation off day. This week is actually my last week of work as I wait for baby boy to come. I'm thrilled that I was able to keep working until my original end date, July 7th.

Any who, on Friday (VLOG) Emily and I went for a nice walk in the morning, I had a doctors apt to check on Lucas, and she was able to hear his little heart. Emily also had a play date, and we had yummy food from the newly improved S&L Sub shop, we ended our night with some shopping and backyard family games.

Saturday was a full day of outdoor activities, including a trip to George's Island with the family followed by some golf and ice cream. It was definitely a warm day and tiring day for me. I had loads of water and was happy to be able to get some walking in for exercise.

Sunday was probably the longest day we've had a in a while. We were up nice and early for some breakfast on the way to Canobie Lake Park, (subscribe for vlog coming up). We were there all day to watch the fireworks, but were happy to escape the park for dinner at Outback instead of the traditional generic park food.

What's a fourth of July without some juicy watermelon, American flag shirts and beautiful smiles!!?

How was your weekend? Hope it was just perfect! I'm going to enjoy this extra day off and get ready to finish off my last two days of work- Wednesday and Thursday. After that, I'm on full nesting and baby watch mode!! Linking up with Biana for Weekending.
