How To Be Happier

Today, I wanted to share some things I have recently started to do or changed around in my daily routine that have made me feel happier. 




1.
Drink a full glass of water before anything else. I'm not a water or health expert, I've just heard it's really good for you. The way I feel is that I've started the day off with one of my 8 suggested cups of water. I also don't feel as hungry as when I felt when I first woke up. Off to a good start. 


2.
Make a to do list, tackle one thing at a time. Make it my goal to do 2 things today. No pressure if the two don't get done, get one done, and start the next one at least. It takes time to get things done, I've stopped stressing and just try my best to make my days productive. 


3.
Taking the time to unsubscribe from unwanted emails as they roll in. Yes! This has been amazing! I've done so many, with the wedding, however, I subscribed to so many more so I am still working on it. I can already see a difference. Having less emails to delete on a daily basis will give you time for other things that are more important, like watching our vlogs :). 


4.
Set my alarm to 10 minutes before my regular wake up call. This one is super hard because once I see I could technically be sleeping a little while longer, I take it. I have done it a few times and it's been so nice not rushing in the mornings, and having a cup of coffee (from the bakery). 


5.
Go to bed without my phone. I'm still working on this, I still have my iPad (haha) but there are a lot less distractions on there. My next step is to go to bed with a book. Slow and steady. 

6.
Stopped trying to make things work, between people jobs, friends etc. It's just too hard trying to make everyone happy. Find a circle and focus on being happy, whoever or whatever truly cares and matters will be there.

  1. Yes to all of these! Unsubscribing from those emails is so annoying but so worth it not to have to clean out your inbox every day from 30+ emails of junk!

  5. I've started unsubscribing and it makes my inbox so much more manageable! It is rare, but on nights I do make it to bed with a book I feel so relaxed!

  7. Love so many of these! Unsubscribing from emails makes me feel SO good, haha! And lately I have been turning off my phone more to give myself breaks throughout the day.

  10. These are all such great ideas! I need to try waking up a few minutes early every day. I have a terrible habit of hitting the snooze button and then I start my day rushed! Not good!
