How To Add Hashtags Automatically On Instagram

Wednesday, November 18, 2015

I don't know if I've been hiding under a rock or what.. I must have been.. I had no idea this was even an option.

After I found out how to do it I told Jose I knew how to automatically add several hashtags to my Instagram posts without forgetting any and without having to type them all out.. He already knew how to do it! What? How is that even possible? Haha.. Anywho, just incase some of you don't know how to do it I thought I'd let you know how to do it and where I found the step by step tutorial.

On your iPhone, go to settings and click on General:

Under General go to Keyboard:

Under Keyboard go to Text replacement:

Under Text Replacement you'll want to add the word you'll use for the certain hashtags. For example, I would use this shortcut when I post manicure photos on Instagram. I have a hashtag for my nail pictures, #VeroSaysNails... As soon as I finish typing that out all of the hashtags will automatically appear.

So you'll want the hashtags you want to appear on the phrase option and the word you'll initially type under shortcut.
Just like when you type, OMW, On my way comes out!

Did you already know how to do this? Would you use this shortcut for your posts? The only reason I would use it is for my nail photos, sometimes I want to add several hashtags and I'll forget one or am just lazy and would rather them just be there.

Let me know what you think in he comments section below!
