Wedding Photography

I've been wanting to share some of our wedding details but just wasn't sure where to start. A fellow blogger mentioned that I should just pick a topic, write about it, and then go from there.

Photography, go!

Interviewing photographers for the wedding was such a chore for us. As many engaged couples, we had no idea what we were doing during our interview process with any of the vendors. I first interviewed with a photographer who basically let me know how expensive photography would be. We didn't end up going with her, for a few reasons, but we did go with the DJ that she recommended.

We ended up going with Imagix, they are a married couple who work together out of East Boston. I simply can't even begin to explain how amazing they were. They were wonderful during our meeting, the day of the wedding and after the wedding. We could tell their passion for photography is intense.

Our wedding day was blessed with rain and I was so afraid we wouldn't be able to get any photos outdoors. Gloria and Arturo made it happen, and the photos look amazing. I've already shared a few but I thought maybe I would share two more of the outdoor photos.

My favorite "thing" about Imagix-Gloria and Arturo was their passion for making sure we had several shots to choose from. At the time all we wanted to do was actually be present during the wedding. Gloria asked us several times if she could take us away for a few minutes for more photos. When we were choosing photos for the album, I was remembering her taking us out and being grateful we had more to choose from. That is definitely something personal, I feel we got the best of both worlds, I really feel that we enjoyed our wedding, the party and all. I also feel that we got so many beautiful photos to choose from.

I don't want to post too many photos on this post, even though it is about the photography, because I am hoping to share the details, venue, flowers etc in the posts to follow with the actual photos.

Let me know what other wedding related posts you'd like to see!

Also, if you have any wedding posts, link them down below or send to me on my social media. I still love to see and read anything about weddings! I still have my Brides magazine subscription!

  4. Cannot wait to see more photos from your wedding. My SIL is getting married at Nashoba, and I don't think she's chosen a photographer yet, so I will definitely have to send her this info :)

  7. When shooting in low light conditions, you will have problems with exposure, especially if you use one of the modes with automatic exposure metering. Switching to manual mode you will get more predictable results. http://softwarehdr.com/raw/ raw editing software nac help you with post-editing.
