Many times in my life I have had to make a choice, choose one, pick one, decide on one... Some easy choices, some sentimental and others plain hard. I have always been a very undecided person, it's hard for me to pick one and stick with it, decide on something and stick with it, make a decision and stick with it. It's hard, but not impossible. Through the years I have learned and grown to get better at this.

The wedding has forced me to make decisions, pick one and stick with it. Things like the colors, the dress, the venue, the "theme" the GUEST LIST! Oh holy moly guest list. Ha!
School has forced me to make decisions as well, pick one class over the other, decide what grade level I would like to teach.
Work has always forced me to decide, day care or nanny. Nanny share or single, to go out before the rain or to wait.
Splitting my free time with family, who do I see this weekend, what should we do.
I've learned it's about balance, and it's hard to keep up with.

The best thing about all of the above "problems" (not really problems, but for lack of a better word), the best thing is, I have choices. I am thankful for choices.

Have a blessed Thursday!

When thinking about how I want my hair to look on the big day, I can go two ways, my usual look and leave it down so that I look myself, or something different and go for an up do.

Of course I went to Pinterest and found some inspiration! None of these photos are mine.

What did you do on your hair for the big day? Let me know in the comments section below. Looking back now, would you have done something different?

Lately, all of my purchases have been things for the wedding, and it's been so fun. I did however, go to Sephora and the Chanel counter at Nordstrom and got a few things for myself, which can be used for the wedding as well. So far I am really enjoying the Chanel foundation, I apply it lightly and I get the coverage I am looking for, which is a very light coverage. I like to see my freckles, just want to cover up some redness mostly.

These are my first full size Nars and Bobbi Brown Lip glosses, and I love them. I didn't want to, but I do. I am positive I'll be visiting Sephora again soon. The Josie Maran Argan oil is a repurchase, I got a small size because I use it sparingly in the warmer months. Once the cold comes back I'll get a full size.

Let me know if you have tried any of these, or what you have recently purchased... Anything I should put on my Wishlist

When we first started thinking of colors for our wedding Jose gave me full reign, but I could never pick a color and stick to it. I finally did and once I did I saw it everywhere! Today, I wanted to share some pretty mint things that are on my wishlist. I wouldn't necessarily wear these together or at the same time, but add hints of mint. Looking forward to wearing the mint on my nails for wedding events (not the day of). Love the satchel, pumps and/or top for a dinner perhaps. The sneakers and jacket are perfect for getting wedding day ready in style!

A wishlist isn't a list of things you need, just a few things you wouldn't mind having. What's on your wishlist!?

I've been busy, my lack of blog posts could tell you that. I haven't painted my nails much lately either. Tonight, after Emily's bed time, Jose went down to watch some boxing and I painted my nails, finally.

Everytime before painting my nails I do the same thing, stand back and choose a color. Today, I chose Essie's Lapiz of Luxury and Hubby for Dessert on the accent nail.

I think the lack of nail polish hardener has made my nails fragile and prone to breakage. I'm fixing that by getting back to treating my nails more often. I would love for them to be in good shape for the wedding!

What's on your nails today?

There's always time to be thankful. It doesn't matter how busy we are, you can always find a few minutes to think about things and feel appreciative. Today, although I have been so busy and have not had time to post anything, I am thankful for time, and events. I am thankful because it doesn't matter what you are going through, if you look at the calendar, there is always something, and event, to look forward to.

When we are going through a rough patch, and we think it's the end of the world, or things are "so bad", if we look at the calendar, you will instantly see that life is beautiful and it doesn't matter what is going on, YOU always have something to look forward to...
An anniversary
Your favorite holiday
A day off
A wedding

So, the next time you're feeling down, look at the calendar, it doesn't matter when it's coming, but you have something to look forward to, something that will make you happy.

Have a blessed THURSDAY!

When I started this blog I knew I wanted to share personal experiences with you. Today, I'm letting you in on a tip to remember before mailing out your wedding invitations and I'm letting you in on a little mistake I made...

I don't remember where I read it, but I am so happy I did. Before mailing out our wedding invitations I wanted to take one to the post office to make sure it only needed one stamp. We ended up needing a seventy cent stamp. Jose asked for pretty wedding stamps and I am so thankful he checked with the post office before we mailed them out. Can't imagine having them returned to me, ahhh!

Another tip, don't forget to add your stamp to the RSVP envelope. I finsihed preparing and sealing 19 of the invites when Jose asked if I had added the stamp to the RSVP cards. Totally forgot, so some have the stamp, others don't. I jokingly told some of my friends I would personally give them a stamp. Off they go!

It's beginning to look a lot like wedding season... Ha!  I'm so excited to share these photos with you. Recently, Heidi from Soto Photography contacted me and asked me to collab with her for a bridal inspired mani. We went ahead and decided to do a few different looks-for the bridesmaid, the bride, for the "break the rules" bride. Today, I am sharing the mani I chose for the bridesmaid as well as other Polish options. All of the polishes we decided on are perfect for the Spring, the colors are pretty, vibrant but still soft!

Personally, I will wear a soft color on our wedding day, but I think it's wonderful if the bridesmaid wears a pretty color, darker perhaps, but still feminine and soft enough for a wedding. I wouldn't want her nails to take away from her already beautiful dress and boquet (which is ordered btw). Depending on the color of the dress and the overal look for the wedding, a bridesmaid can pull off any of these shades!

For more inspiration be sure to follow me on Instagram, use #VeroSaysNails to see more manicures. Find Heidi and check out the rest of her photos. If you're in the Boston area you will love her. She was professional, gave feedback, and  allowed me to have an opinion. She has a studio she works from but also loves to do outdoor shoots. She recently started a seperate instagram account for her work, you will be impressed.
