I have a confession, I don't have a skin care routine down. I have skin care products that I love, but I am not really consistent. Lately, I've been doing better. I have the wedding to thank for that. I have been trying to get a routine down so that I can sport healthy glowy skin on wedding day. These came on right at the perfect moment, so, thank you Influenster for sending these for me to review. I have tried Freeman products before, but it's been a while. They have over 20 masks to choose from, so you're bound to find one you like or one that fits what you're looking for.

I received:
Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask
Cucumber Peel Off Mask
Facial Sleeping Mask-Honeydew & Chamomile
Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask
Coffee & Chai Energizing Paper Eye Mask

Find the party over at #FeelingBeautifulin5 as they claim to get you gorgeous in 10 minutes or less.

*I received these products complimentary for testing purposes.

Have you tried these products before? If not, what masks do you use? Always on the look out for more!

Oh, hi there lovely people of the internet. How have you been? I have obviously been MIA, staying very busy. It's been a busy past few weeks, and it continues to be pretty busy.

This past weekend we:
-Saw the florist
-Shopped for Emily's wedding day shoes Emily
-Went to her usual Gymnastics class
-Saw the Easter bunny
-Did a little bit of Sephora shopping
-Lazily watched Honey, I shrunk the kids on Sunday morning
-Celebrated my soon to be (officially) nephew's 15th birthday with dinner and a very well deserved stop at Richardson's for ice cream

These were the only photos I took:
(& actually, I only took the ice cream photo, Emily and the Easter bunny is thanks to Jose, I was too busy making sure the photographer got a nice shot haha)

What were you up to over the weekend?

I am thankful for the guy at Michael's. I remember reading his name tag before I walked away but right now I can't even think of it. I'm sorry. We were shopping for frames. Mint frames to be specific. As usual I was on the hunt for something inexpensive as we needed a total of 4 frames-1 8X10 and 3 5X7. We found some that were really nice but not the right mint. So we asked the guy that works in the frames department. He gave us the great idea (can't believe I didn't think of it) of making them ourselves. What? A DIY? This whole time we have been deciding and planning for the wedding I never thought of doing anything DIY. It was genius.

So, thank you, guy at Michael's!

We purchased the 4 frames and the mint color paint. We went with a chalk finish to keep the frames matte. We are not done with them, we are thinking of "roughing"
them up a bit. What's the correct DIY term for that?

So, are you a DIY fanatic/expert/lover? I love the thought of doing things myself but I usually go with pre finished. I am super excited, however, to do these for our wedding. It will be something done by us and we will definitely keep them to display our wedding photos. Also, the beauty of it is, if we decide we don't want the mint anymore we can paint over it!

Two days until Spring is officially here. Granted it doesn't feel like Spring right now but I'll take it being officially Spring. The part where it actually starts to feel like Spring, will come shortly after.

The other day I was totally minding my own business at Rite Aid, when I accidently bumped into the new Essie Bridal Collection. Woah, I love anything bridal. I also have the whole 2015 collection. Some of the colors looked too similar to some I already own at home and they didn't have the whole collection,  so I got two that are very light in color (like most of my nail polishes) but the colors are different than what I own. Does that make any sense?

One of my favorite things about Bridal collections are the names. They come up with such cute and funny names, it's one of the first things I look at. I got Hubby for dessert and Brides to be.

Brides to be is a very pretty nude shade. It's sheer on the first application. This is two coats of the polish. To me, it looks more of a brown nude, and I don't have any that have a bit of brown to them. Excited to have this one... Easy to apply, and does not wash me out.

Hubby for dessert is my favorite. It reminds me of Easter. It has a purple undertone but sometimes looks like pink. Another very pretty sheer on the first application, opaque with two. I have seen swatches with more coats and it looks very opaque, to me two is good and is opaque enough for my liking.

What do you think? Do you have the other shades?

Dear Hunter,

You are one of my favorites. When I am in need I know I can count on you. I love the way we work together and that you help me in moments that I am in need. Rain or snow, I can use you. You like being used, so it works. Come Fall time when it gets colder and I cant wear my flat shoes anymore, I love you. I love you in the Winter too, I can wear you rain or snow and my feet are protected and warm. I can walk right over snow or jump in puddles if I choose to. However, I am so excited to put you away for a while. I am so excited for Spring, and for better times to wear flats and sandals. I love you Hunter boots but I will be happier if yesterday was the last day I use you, until next Fall anyway.

Don't mind the photos, my boots have been worn and loved to pieces.

Who else loves Hunter boots as much as I do? I am excited to get a new pair next Fall!

I've been letting my brows grow. That's no easy task, in sure you know. So, I carry a tweezer with me for those days where they are looking really bad, I go ahead and clean them up a bit. While I was looking for my tweezer this morning I realized I am really loving what I have in my daily makeup bag.

I'm using the Rebecca Minkoff bag for Ipsy*, and I have found it keeps me from over carrying makeup products. For me, it is just the right size.

Loreal Infallible gloss in Coral Sands
Revlon Tweezers

What do you have in your daily bag?  Have you tried any of these? If you're thinking of snagging any of these up, be sure to shop through Ebates* first!

My last update was in October. Today, I can happily say we have gotten so many things off the list. I have to say the hardest thing to decide on was to have the intimate or big ceremony. After that, everything else sort of fell into place.

Here is a list of things that are done:

Caterer, flowers and cake
The dress
Save the dates sent
Booked our Photographer & DJ
Ordered invitations
Picked cocktail napkins
Picked a color and have stuck with it
Bridesmaid dress picked and ordered
Bridal party chosen
Flower girl dresses picked
Food tasted
Cake tasted
Wedding night booked
Hair and makeup trial scheduled
Invitations ordered
Guest book
His band
Start writing vows

What are we missing? Ha! I'm kidding. I'm pretty happy with the list of things we have done. There are a ton of other things to do. Let's chat, what am I missing! 😉

Oh the weekend, it comes and goes so quickly. The best thing about this past weekend was the time change! I can't wait to leave work and have it still be light out. I think that's everyone's highlight.

I played around with the pieces I got in my Rocksbox, and loved all of them. They are simple, pretty and delicate just as I asked in the survey I took. Hurry and get your first free box when you use everythingveroxoxo at checkout! That offer expires so hurry!

I was using the Chi heat protector but it was leaving my hair greasy and sticky. So I am trying this one and got the hairspray for fly away's which have been a thing lately.

Yoshua and Betsy have to go back to England, so we got together to have some pizza and spend a little more time together. Jose got his Hot Wheels game on! I am so grateful to her for spending so much time on me for the wedding! Thank you Betsy! Can't wait to see you all soon!

How pretty is this shade? It's called Bianca, I love it! It's shiny, shimmery and and a perfect deeper blue! #VeroSaysNails

Emily was surprised to see I was able to fix her Elsa tutu!

Emily also randomly has special requests for her hair. This weekend she wanted a "bun braid", I delivered! (That's my dress in the background).

Seriously? She's so beautiful, and smart it's crazy how big she has gotten.

How was your weekend? Let me know in the comments section below!

Rocksbox* is a subscription box. I have only had makeup/skin related subscription boxes in the past. This one is a bit different in that you get to rent designer pieces for $19/month.

First, you take the survey. Second, you get three pieces in the mail for you to wear. Third, return your pieces any time.
It's easy, free shipping and personalized.

A plus, they wrap your jewelry very nicely and are detail oriented with the big note-Hey Veronica!

Best part? You can get your first box free! That's right, at checkout, use the code everythingveroxoxo and you get your first box totally free! You can see if you love it or not and get some pretty cool pieces to wear!

My first box includes:
Lotus Jewerly Studio Petal Necklace
         Nakamol Chain Wrap bracelet
Gorda a Chloe Small Studs

So what do you think? Great pieces right? When I took my survey I made sure I expressed my love for delicate and dainty pieces. I think I got a great box and can't wait to see what I get next month.

Let me know in the comments if you're planning to use the code, to get your first free box, hurry, the code expires soon!

Items marked with an *, were sent to me complimentary.

Today, I wanted to bring back something I used to do and share with you all, being thankful. This helped me put things into perspective and realize that life was not as hard as it seemed. You know how we stress over the "little" things.

I am thankful for a parking spot in Southie. Have you seen the news? It's crazy out there with the snow banks, and no place to put all the extra snow. I have to say I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yesterday, I left work and there was still a bit of day light. Yeah, day light after working hours, it's been a while. Spring will be here before we know it. I have a feeling this Spring will be one like I've never experienced.

As a nanny it is such a plus to have a parking spot in your familie's home. I have worked for families in the past where I had to find a spot on the street. I had to worry about street cleaning in the warmer months and in the Winter the snow made it impossible to find a spot that wasn't "saved" or wouldn't get my car stuck at 5pm when I was trying to go home.

Such a small thing to be excited about, but like I said, these posts are about the small things.

That's all I have for you today. What are you thankful for? Let me know in the comments section!

The days are getting longer, there are signs of Spring. Yet, the amount of snow still on the ground is pretty depressing. I know it's coming, but until then, I'll be wearing these. I splurged, and Jose did too.

Top: Target
Jeans: Old Navy
Bag: Tory Burch
Necklace: Brookline Booksmith

Aren't they fab? I'm slightly obsessed! So excited to end this Winter wearing these!
