This has been the best challenge I've ever done. I was already running before this challenge started, but this has made me keep track of what I'm doing and in response my ability to do more has grown.

Last week's #Pena5K was a great one, Kendwy, (co-host of this link up) from MindofKiwi came! We live fairly close by and she has been meaning to make it to one, and it finally happened! There's proof... She's in our selfie! 
This day I did my usual 2 miles in the AM, plus the #pena5K which should be a total of about 5 miles but I ended up walking with Kendwy and my Nike App stopped tracking in the middle of the walk and I only recorded 3.18 for the day. Kendwy sent me a picture of what we did at Deer Island, I would estimate I did at least 5 miles this day but am only going to record what my app recorded for the #100SummerMiles. 
Saturday, we walked Breakheart Reservation, we vlogged this day, see here, we walked 2.43 miles. 

Sunday was a total of 4.41, 3 of those was non stop running. 

Monday I had a total of 5.15 miles. 

Tuesday I had a total of 4.11 miles. 

Wednesday I walked 6 miles. 

My total (not including the two-ish miles I lost on Thursday) as of yesterday is: 

My goal was to complete 15 miles every week, I should have 30 his week, instead I have just over 40. I am very happy about that. 

This update is for 7/24-7/30 (Thursday-Wednesday).

    Your first statement was my fave! My heart was so happy! The pena5k has been wonderful for me! It has pushed me past my comfort zone. Just what I needed.

  5. Congrats on all your miles! That's amazing! I'm so jealous you & Kendwy got to hang out! I love the quote "nobody how slow you guy, you're lapping everyone on the couch"...I said it to myself 100x when I was training for my first 5k. So happy to linkup with you!
