#100SUMMERMILES UPDATE 1

For details on this journey please see the original post hereKendwy, from MindofKiwi, and I are inviting you to join us in completing 100 miles before the Summer ends. Yes, we started late, but it's never too late to start. Today, I am sharing my update. 






On Thursday last week I walked about 2 miles in the morning, ran 3 at the #Pena5K. 

Monday, I walked 2 miles in the morning, and ran 3 in the evening with my partner in crime. 

Tuesday, I walked 2 miles in the morning and that afternoon we had tiny visitors, so we had races with them, they were on their bikes, so we actually ran. Jose and I  then went for a 2 mile walk. 

Yesterday, I did just over 2 miles of walking in the morning, and had a date at night, so no run. 


I am using the Nike Run app to track my walks/runs. It seems to be working fine. It even gives a nice summary. 

My total as of yesterday is 16.37 miles, 83.63 more to go. I set a goal of 15 miles per week to reach the 100 miles before the Summer ends- I am on track to success. 

Since I am walking in the morning and running at night, I pause the workout but that has been throwing my pace record off. I think starting today I will end it and start a new run.
