WEDDING PLANNING-Top 3 questions you get asked

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

As many of you know, were engaged, and there's a gorgeous ring to prove it. I wanted to share the top 3 questions we were asked as soon as we announced the news.

We first told Emily, then my mom, my future in laws were next, and then my two closest brothers. Everyone had the same questions.

Think about it, someone close to you tells you they are engaged, what are the top questions you would ask. Here is what we were asked:

1. Where is the ring?/Show me the ring!
I have always been very tidy with my manicures just because, now I feel that the pressure is on to keep them tidy. Everyone wants to see the ring of course, & I find myself trying to match my polishes with my ring. Silly, I know. I really can't stop looking at it, and everyone loves to ask to see it. It's definitely the number one request.

2. How did he propose?
I love telling our proposal story because it is very us. Jose originally planned a whole ordeal including a dinner date for a few days later, but he says that he couldn't wait- That has got to be the very best part of our story.

3. When is the wedding?
Ahh!! Everyone, including Emily, wants to know the date. Way before we even thought about it. If it were up to her it would have been that very night. Everyone wants to know the date, at first we had no idea, we hadn't even thought about it. We were enjoying being engaged I guess. Now, we have thought and talked about it. Still, nothing set in stone.

Regardless of the type of wedding I have, what type of ring I have, or the proposal story, I want my marriage to be more beautiful than my wedding.

Thanks so much for reading about my wedding planning.
