Thankful Thursday

Thursday, January 2, 2014

Being thankful every day is one of my 2014 resolutions. Life can get in the way of us sitting down and reflecting just how lucky we are. We like to focus on the things that we don't have and those that we want, how we have to wake up to go to work on Monday mornings etc. I came across Katie Elizabeth's blog post on Thankful Thursdays (Katie is one of 4 co-hosts for this project, links will be below). I instantly before reading it thought, what a great idea to post about random things I am thankful for throughout the year. Sure enough, that's exactly what it is, and there's an option to link up and participate with a group of other bloggers.

My first Thankful Thursday:

I am thankful for NYE with my fiance.

I am thankful for tasty treats after a great dinner.

I am thankful for the ability to send my fiance silly pictures to get me through my lonely day at home.

What are you thankful for today!? Let me know in the comments section below. I am looking forward to being thankful about the big things and the little things in life, including family, health, work and everything in between.

Be sure to check out the ladies who are hosting this link up.
