THE WEDDING PLANNING JOURNEY

Thursday, December 12, 2013

I don't know what I'm doing, I've never been married before nor am I an event planner. This will be one of the most exciting times in my life, and I would love to share it with you.

This post is a simple introduction to what you will see in the future.. Wedding Planning!

The date: We have talked about it, but have nothing set in stone. We are shooting for Spring or Fall of 2015.

Although the wedding is about a year and a half away, I have been told by many that it is never too early to plan. I like the idea of having so much time to plan, because we will have time to look, visit, test, taste etc. to make our wedding as perfect as we can.

Our soon to be, completeness!

I know, things may not go smoothly but I'm ready for this journey and hope you will join me. Did you have a wedding? Please share some tips from your wedding planning experience. Also, what would you have done differently?

I'm so excited! Please share your thoughts in the comments section down below! I am looking forward to sharing the planning with you all.

  1. Congrats on your engagement! It's never too early to start planning! I started before he even popped the question (I swear I'm not crazy lol he told me to start planning)! If you haven't signed up for theknot.com I would recommend doing so! They have tons of resources and a checklist that's very helpful! Good luck with your planning! I can't wait to see planning posts! :)

  3. I'm so happy for you love! <3 I would love to see the things that you find and come up with for your wedding! Congratulations again on your engagement! I haven't been married, so I would be in the same boat as you are right now. Hehe. Totally in over my head. I would need some guidance too (or maybe a lot)! :)

  4. This is exciting! I will be watching your blog to see all the news you got! My wedding was tiny- lol. There was not a lot planning involved. I suggest: come to Florida and do a wedding on the beach! Hugs, Sissi http://www.beauty4free2u.com

  6. Who ever told you its never too early to start planning is 100% correct! My hubby and I have been together for 14 years and just got married May 5, 2012. I already had a wedding folder when I met him...lol...The best advice I can give you is accept all the help that people offer, don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy the actual day <3
